Revisão sistemática de literatura: estudo de caso sobre a remoção de cor de águas residuais têxteis

Resumo

A indústria têxtil é caracterizada pelo elevado consumo de águas, que são requeridas durante as etapas do processamento têxtil. Nesse processo, diversos produtos químicos são utilizados, o que torna as águas residuais dessas indústrias uma mistura complexa de produtos que vão desde corantes a metais pesados. Quanto aos corantes, estima-se que cerca de 15% seja perdido durante o processamento dos têxteis e liberado nas águas residuais. Alguns efeitos nocivos desses compostos são relatados, como natureza carcinogênica e interferência na atividade fotossintética de plantas aquáticas. Esses compostos são de difícil remoção por métodos tradicionais, o que tem motivado as pesquisas de técnicas alternativas e mais eficientes para remoção da cor dessas águas. O estudo objetiva realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre as técnicas para remoção da cor dos efluentes da indústria têxtil com levantamento dos artigos envolvendo a temática no banco de dados Scopus.
