PLANT PARASITIC NEMATODES RESISTED BY THE PLANTPARASITIC- NEMATODE LABORATORY OF THE UFRPE, AT THE NORTHEAST OF BRAZIL (1967-2004)

Abstract

This paper reports a list of plant parasitic nematodes found in soil and planttissue at northeastern Brazil by the Plant-Parasitic-Nematode Laboratory ofthe Federal Rural University of the Pernambuco. The vinegar nematodeTurbatrix aceti was included due to the fact it is a serious contaminant of thevinegar and pickles industries and makes these products impure andunacceptable for consumption.
