Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being considered for publication by another journal.

  • All authors contributed significantly to the elaboration of the article.

  • All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections, in case of eventual detections.

  • The central focus of the article must be within the scope of the journal.

  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, Open Office or RTF format.
  • URLs for references have been provided when possible.

  • The text is in single space; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.

  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, on the about the journal page.

  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., articles), the instructions available in Peer Review Process were followed.

  • Publicize any financial support received.

Author Guidelines

Papers submitted to the Management Control Review must have the following format:

a) Text with up to 9,000 words in file in Microsoft Word or similar compatible format;

b) Times New Roman font, size 12;

c) Space between lines: simple and without space between paragraphs;

d) Paragraph entry: 1.25 cm;

e) A4 size paper (210 x 297 mm);

f) Margins: top 3cm, bottom 2cm, left 3cm, right 2cm;

g) Numbering of pages in the lower right corner;

h) Figures, graphs, charts and tables in Times New Roman font, size 10;

i) Titles (in capital letters) and subtitles (only the first letter of each word in capital letters) must be numbered and in bold;

j) Maximum number of 5 (five) authors per article, ordered according to the contribution of each one to the text;

l) Citations must be presented in the body of the text following the rules of the American Psychological Association (APA);

m) Tables, figures, tables and references must follow the APA rules.
