Processo de avaliação do JEAP - JEAP evaluation process

The evaluation of submissions in JEAP follows the following procedures. Verification of submission of requested documents: Manuscript (in Doc), Letter of Responsibility of Authors (in PDF), if necessary, images, one by one, (in JPG or PNG format), Verification of the proper use of the JEAP Models in compliance with the Guidelines and Models made available, Manuscript verification by Plagius software, Sending invitations to potential reviewers, Forwarding of opinions to authors to provide possible evaluations, Checking the changes attended to, Final edition of the manuscript regarding compliance with the JEAP Model, Publication of the article on the JEAP website, Registration of publication in the OJS System, DOI registration on the Crossref Platform. Article published, with DOI, on the JEAP website (www.jeap.ufrpe.br). JEAP uses the OJS System and there are the following options for Reviewers: Accept, Mandatory corrections, Submit again for review, Submit to another journal, Reject and View comments. JEAP needs the Acceptance opinions of at least 2 (two) reviewers. When 1 (one) of the reviewers issues a Reject report, the manuscript is submitted to a third reviewer. When the review is Resubmit for review, the manuscript is sent back to this same Reviewer to verify compliance with their requests for changes. If so, this Appraiser issues a new opinion. When Accepted, the manuscript continues in the JEAP evaluation process, in case of non-compliance with requests and absence of justifications accepted by the Reviewer, the submission will be rejected and a new submission indicated, in case of interest of the authors and correction of identified problems. The delay in the evaluation process is the lack of response to invitations and the sending of opinions by the evaluators.
