Fluido oral: avanços tecnológicos e implicações clínicas na espécie suína

O interesse pelos métodos laboratoriais à base do fluido oral tem aumentado e os estudos apontam como uma alternativa nas análises sanguíneas e séricas. Diversos patógenos podem ser avaliados pela reatividade de proteínas e detecção de antígenos. Na espécie suína, em especial, o uso do fluido oral está ampliando as perspectivas de desenvolvimento e aplicação nos diagnósticos laboratoriais, monitoramentos de rebanho, bem como a avaliação do bem-estar animal. A proposta desta revisão é fazer uma abordagem sobre a colheita do fluido oral, o histórico e aplicações dos métodos laboratoriais, bem como a identificação dos patógenos, das imunoglobulinas, das proteínas e hormônios esteróides no fluido oral da espécie suína.Downloads
