Ultrasonographic aspects of the trematoda Fasciola hepatica isolated in acoustic gel.
Abstract
This paper describes the ultrasonographic aspects of trematoda Fasciola hepatica, isolated in acoustic gel. It was observed ahyperechogenic curvilinear image at the periphery and a hypoechoic internal portion, without the formation of an acousticshadow. They presented themselves as thin structures with thickness ranging from 1 to 2 mm.
